Family day out at Europa-Park

From now on, travellers from 15 years old can take up to four children until 14 years old with them for free on long distance trains, even if they are not related. Children, who travel for free, must be noted on the ticket.

The Europa-Park JUNIOR CLUB is an online learning and play platform for children aged 3+ and free of charge. This interactive learning and play offer inspires children and motivates them to want to learn more. And the fun continues at Europa-Park! After riding various attractions, stars are waiting to be collected by the children and exchanged for new items online.

If your child is too small to go on the ride, you can ride separately. One parent rides first and asks the staff about Baby Switch. You will then receive a Baby Switch pass so that your partner can ride the same ride without queueing. That way, your child never has to wait alone and you don't have to miss out. Please speak to our staff with your child in order to be able to use Baby Switch. Baby Switch is available at all attractions that you cannot ride with your child.

Should your child get lost: Lost children will be accompanied by a member of staff to the Information Office by the Lake or to the Main Entrance. Stickers to write names and phone numbers on are available in all Information Offices free of charge.

There are several ways to find out which attractions are suitable for your child's age and height. You can use the website filters, interactive Europa-Park map, our app, printed park map (download PDF), and information boards at the attractions. Checking suitability before queueing will ensure that the whole family has a great day out.

Quick and easy access to the themed areas: As well as providing great views of the park, our round trips with the EP Express (stations in Spain, Germany, and Greece), Panorama Train and Monorail (Stations in Iceland and Luxembourg) are a great way to travel between the themed areas!

In front of each attraction in the park there is a sign indicating safety requirements and restrictions. Some rides have a minimum height and age requirement for children (e.g. 11, 140, i.e. 11 years old and 140 cm tall). Some rides also have a maximum height. These safety regulations are set by TÜV and must be strictly adhered to.

Some attractions have age and height restrictions - these are provided by the TÜV (German Safety Standards Authority) and must be followed strictly. 'Fit for Kids' - Europa-Park is the first theme park in the world to obtain a safety certificate from the TÜV especially created to ensure the safety of children.

Tired little legs: A whole day at Europa-Park can be exhausting for little legs. Take advantage of our pushchair-rental service in Europa-Park! When you arrive you can rent a pushchair for a fee of €5,00 as well as a deposit of €50 at either the main entrance or the hotel-parking entrance.

Please note: Our pushchairs are only suitable for children that are able to sit up, as laying down is not possible in the pushchair.

Al fresco: Take a break and enjoy your own food in one of the idyllic picnic areas.

Restaurants: Refuel in one of our 50 authentic restaurants, snacks bars, and cafés with a total of 9,000 seats - 3,000 of which are outside!
