Europe Day is celebrated every year on 9. May to promote peace and unity in Europe. It marks the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, in which Robert Schuman set out his idea for a new form of political cooperation in Europe that would make war between the nations of Europe unthinkable.
At Europa-Park, we also celebrate Europe Day on 9. May, because the values of European unity, peace and cooperation are also present in our daily lives. The Park was created as a vision of European unity and cooperation between countries and represents the cultural and geographical diversity of Europe. With its 17 European themed areas, the park offers a unique opportunity to discover and experience the different cultures and traditions of Europe in a fun and entertaining way. At Europa-Park, you can discover Europe and its values in one day. What's more, the park employs people from all over the world. The working atmosphere is based on respect, tolerance, openness and equality, in the true spirit of Europe.
On this day, there will be special acts and great performances throughout the park.
European Day is included in the park entry price.
