Winter at Rulantica

Treat yourself to a break in our water world

While the world outside is grey in grey, the water world Rulantica takes you on a journey to the far north. Whether slide action in the ice palace Vinterhal, fun and games in the mysterious land of the trolls or exciting slide races in the Tower of the Gods - in Rulantica you dive into a world full of Nordic-mystical magic.

If you prefer a more relaxed approach, swim to the swim-up bar in the Nordic forest lagoon, drift through Snorri's Saga or treat yourself to a relaxing time-out in Hyggedal.

And best of all, here you can enjoy the unique scenery of the north paired with tropical temperatures!

If you want to get a breath of cool winter air in between, the heated outdoor pool or the raging torrent that winds its way through the outdoor area are the perfect places to go.

Action & variety

Rulantica offers tons of action and water fun for all ages, even during the colder months. Whether rafting up a halfpipe in a tube in Viner Rytt, a splashing duel with family and friends in Tønnevirvel or racing down Europe's largest speed slide, Vikingløp, headfirst - Rulantica offers endless water fun and action all year round.

What could be better than shutting out the outside world on a gloomy winter's day and indulging in relaxation and recuperation - surrounded by real hygge ambience? In our Hyggedal relax and sauna area, the fantastic atmosphere of a Nordic forest lagoon surrounds you while you sweat in one of the three saunas and a steam bath or enjoy a fruity smoothie or a delicious bowl in the Hygge sauna bar.

With all the water fun in Rulantica, you should not forget to relax. Our cosy sunbathing areas in Hyggedal are ideal for a nap, a reading break or simply for a little time out in between. Take a seat and enjoy the peace and quiet!

Cosy saunas

Our three saunas and a new steam bath offer textile-free and relaxing sauna pleasure to all sweat enthusiasts over 18 years old. While in the KOTA Sauna Chalet you can enjoy a hearty sauna on the Hyggedal outdoor terrace with a delicious wheat beer, the 'lille' sauna has a particularly rustic and cosy wooden ambience. In the daylight sauna 'stor' you can also experience pure relaxation and the Damp Huset will immerse you in a gentle cloud of steam. Wonderfully relaxing infusions round off your experience in Hyggedal with an extra dose of well-being.

If you need a little refreshment between a fast-paced slide and a race on the Hoppablad, the water world offers culinary delights ranging from fresh bowls to pizza, pasta & co., all the way to coffee & cake.

Tip: A delicious mulled wine or fruit punch in the heated outdoor pool is a very special experience in the cold season.
