Winter at Rulantica

Treat yourself to a break in our water world

Even during the cold season, Europa-Park's water world offers plenty of action and unforgettable water fun! In the spacious indoor area, numerous slides, a huge wave pool and many other water attractions offer unlimited fun for the whole family.

If you want to get a breath of cool winter air in between, the heated outdoor pool or the raging torrent that winds its way through the outdoor area are the perfect places to go. 

The interactive water carousel Tønnevirvel, which is now offering splashing adventures as an indoor ride, even when temperatures outside drop, is also great fun. For a wintery refreshment in between, the Tempel Krog swim-up bar serves mulled wine and fruit punch. 

A visit to the Hyggedal relaxation and sauna area is particularly recommended during the cold winter months. Three saunas, a steam bath and cosy loungers offer plenty of relaxation and recreation.

5. Geburtstag in Rulantica

Happy Birthday Rulantica!

On 28. November, the water world celebrates its 5th birthday, and we will be celebrating together with our guests! Numerous birthday activities await young and old from 28. November to 1. December. In addition to the water fun, there will be a colourful show programme every day especially for little water lovers, while the Rulantica Vibes in the covered swim-up bar in the Frigg Temple will really heat up the adults with cool DJ beats on selected dates.

Mark your calendars: From 13. January to 21. March 2025, the Water World will be transformed into a sparkling sea of lights! The Nordic Festival of Lights gets guests in the mood for the anniversary season at the Europa-Park Resort with magical illuminations and fantastic shows and entertainment.

What could be better than shutting out the outside world on a gloomy winter's day and indulging in relaxation and recuperation - surrounded by real hygge ambience? In our Hyggedal relax and sauna area, the fantastic atmosphere of a Nordic forest lagoon surrounds you while you sweat in one of the three saunas and a steam bath or enjoy a fruity smoothie or a delicious bowl in the Hygge sauna bar.

With all the water fun in Rulantica, you should not forget to relax. Our cosy sunbathing areas in Hyggedal are ideal for a nap, a reading break or simply for a little time out in between. Take a seat and enjoy the peace and quiet!

Our three saunas and a new steam bath offer textile-free and relaxing sauna pleasure to all sweat enthusiasts over 18 years old. While in the KOTA Sauna Chalet you can enjoy a hearty sauna on the Hyggedal outdoor terrace with a delicious wheat beer, the 'lille' sauna has a particularly rustic and cosy wooden ambience. In the daylight sauna 'stor' you can also experience pure relaxation and the Damp Huset will immerse you in a gentle cloud of steam. Wonderfully relaxing infusions round off your experience in Hyggedal with an extra dose of well-being.
